Join us for a multi-action webisode focused squarely on the daily realities of the Project and Problem-Based Learning classroom, from unit planning, to building student autonomy, to growing a collaborative culture, to assessing the learning, to communicating with parents, to calling in outside experts, and more!
Each month we will be spotlighting a hot PBL topic for PBL practitioners and we'll also be highlighting a tech tool or two to enhance the PBL experience for your classroom. We'll also have a special guest share a Project Idea of the month to challenge and inspire you.
Each webisode will be recorded and added to a subscription archive that you get access to 24/7 on demand.
Ginger is an PBL consultant and keynote speaker with ESSDACK, a non-profit education service center based in Hutchinson Kansas. She specializes in Project/Problem Based Learning, maker education, technology integration, trauma and resiliency-building, and gifted & high ability learners.
Ginger is passionate about helping educators rethink what teaching and learning can be in today’s world.
"There's nothing better than watching the face of a teacher, or a group of educators, or an entire school, as they watch their kids get excited about learning and doing things they never thought was possible. I know exactly what that feels like from the perspective of the learner, the teacher, and the school leader. Because in that moment, everything is possible. It’s the feeling of endless possibilities for all involved -- and we want to do it again and again."
Ginger pushes us to go outside of our comfort zone. She's not afraid to challenge the status quo. I like that because I feel like it gives me permission to also challenge the status quo!
Chelsea J, Middle /High School ELA Teacher
Ginger always makes me think. She is always asking questions that make me question things I always "thought I knew" about education. I often find myself thinking...What Would Ginger Do/Think?
Jill W, Social Studies Teacher
Ginger understands education, students, and pedagogy. She meets her audience where they are and helps them to grow in thoughts and ideas.
